Role Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Associate based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area.

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Associate who will drive revenue growth across Leapot’s offerings, including:

  • AI-powered SaaS products
  • Software and digital solutions
  • Training and career programs

This role involves a mix of:

  • Product and Service Sales
  • Partnering with Organizations/Institutions
  • Student engagement / enrollment


The ideal candidate should be comfortable with consultative selling, presentations, and closing deals.

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for generating leads, conducting market research, creating and delivering presentations, and establishing communication with potential clients. Collaborating closely with the sales and marketing teams, the role also involves strategizing ways to expand market reach and maintain stakeholder relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a cutting-edge technology company.


Key Responsibilities

1.  Revenue Generation Across Offerings

Drive sales for:

  • Leapot LMS (Learning Management System)
  • Flip2Grow (interactive content platform)
  • AI solutions and automation services
  • Training and career programs
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and services


2.Business Development & Partnerships

Build relationships with:

  • Corporate clients (for training / LMS / AI solutions)
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Universities / Colleges and institutions


3. Consultative Sales & Conversion

  • Understand client/student needs and recommend suitable solutions
  • Handle end-to-end sales cycle:
  • Lead generation → pitch → follow-up → closure


4.Student & Campus Engagement

  • Conduct career awareness sessions, seminars, and webinars
  • Promote relevant programs and convert interested students


5. Pipeline Management

  • Maintain and track leads using Excel/CRM
  • Ensure consistent follow-up and conversion

 

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to explain technology products in simple terms
  • Sales mindset with ability to close deals across B2C and B2B
  • Confidence in handling:
  • Students
  • Faculty / TPOs
  • Corporate clients
  • Strong execution and follow-up discipline


Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in:
  • Business Development / Sales / EdTech / SaaS / Training
  • Experience in education, SaaS, or technology sales preferred
  • Comfortable with:
  • Field work
  • Presentations
  • Target-driven environment
