Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst who is passionate about solving business problems through data, structured thinking, and execution. This role combines business analytics with strategic execution, requiring someone who can analyze large datasets, identify trends, build dashboards, track business performance, and help leadership convert business goals into measurable outcomes. You will work closely with founders, leadership, and cross-functional teams to generate actionable insights, improve decision-making, streamline processes, and drive operational excellence across the organization.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

• Analyze business data across sales, marketing, operations, supply chain, finance, and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for leadership and internal teams.
• Track and monitor key business KPIs such as Revenue, Conversion Rate, CAC, ROAS, AOV, Inventory Health, Return Rate, and Customer Retention.
• Identify data gaps, business bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies, and recommend actionable improvements.
• Build and maintain dashboards, automated reports, and performance trackers using Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Python, BigQuery, or BI tools.
• Translate business objectives into measurable KPIs, reports, and structured deliverables.
• Support leadership with business planning, performance tracking, and strategic analysis.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-backed recommendations.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis for campaigns, product launches, pricing decisions, inventory planning, and operational improvements.
• Help implement workflow automations, ERP improvements, and reporting automation wherever possible.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of reports across departments.
• Support business reviews by presenting insights, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and identify opportunities to simplify business decision-making through data.
  
  

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• 1+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, MIS, Reporting, Operations Analytics, or similar roles.
• Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Advanced Formulas, Data Cleaning).
• Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation.
• Exposure to BigQuery or other cloud-based databases is preferred.
• Basic understanding of business KPIs and metrics across D2C, E-commerce, Retail, or Consumer businesses.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is an added advantage.
• Exposure to ERP systems, workflow automation, or reporting automation is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data in a simple and actionable manner.
• High ownership mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
