Job Title: QA Engineer cum Business Analyst (SaaS Product)

Location: Hyderabad (Work from Office)

Shift Timing: Rotational Shifts

Experience: 3–7 years (flexible for the right candidate)

About the Role

We are looking for a QA cum Business Analyst who will act as the quality gatekeeper of our SaaS product. This role goes beyond traditional testing. You will work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and developers to understand requirements deeply, identify edge cases early, and ensure features are well-defined, bounded, and production-ready before release.

Your goal: prevent bugs, not just find them.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work directly with stakeholders to understand business requirements and user expectations
• Ask the right questions to uncover gaps, assumptions, and edge cases
• Convert discussions into clear, testable, and bounded requirements
• Ensure no feature moves to development with ambiguity or missing scenarios

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Design detailed test cases covering functional, negative, boundary, and edge scenarios
• Perform manual testing across web and app flows for the SaaS platform
• Validate business logic, workflows, permissions, and role-based behavior
• Ensure fixes are thoroughly regression-tested before release
• Take ownership of overall product stability and release quality

Pre-Release Ownership

• Review features before development completion to catch risks early
• Ensure acceptance criteria are met for every feature
• Validate that real-world usage scenarios are covered, not just happy paths
• Sign off on releases only when quality benchmarks are met

Documentation & Communication

• Maintain clear documentation for requirements, test cases, and known limitations
• Communicate risks, gaps, and quality concerns clearly to product and engineering teams
• Act as a bridge between business expectations and technical implementation

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience in manual QA for SaaS products
• Hands-on experience in requirement analysis / business analysis
• Excellent understanding of edge cases, boundary conditions, and negative testing
• Experience working within the Staff Augmentation, Recruitment, RPO, or HR industry
• Ability to think like an end-user and like a system designer
• Strong communication skills, comfortable pushing back when requirements are unclear
• Experience working closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
