In data engineering at PwC, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions. At PwC AC, as a Data Business Analyst, the candidate will collaborate closely with onsite/offshore business stakeholders, architects and data engineering teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into actionable data solutions. The candidate will play a key role in bridging business needs with cloud-based data engineering initiatives leveraging ETL frameworks, and Property & Casualty Insurance domain knowledge. The role requires strong understanding of insurance data processes, ability to communicate effectively with technical and functional teams, and hands-on experience in data analysis, requirement documentation, and supporting end-to-end implementation of Cloud Data Platforms. The candidate must be comfortable working in an agile environment and supporting business engagement across multiple workstreams. Years of Experience: Candidates with 5 - 8 years experience Position Requirements Must Have : Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain knowledge (policy, claims, billing, underwriting data processes). Guidewire X-Center knowledge and experience with insurance reporting frameworks. Hands-on experience with Guidewire data model and data dictionary. Strong working knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, data modeling, and SQL. Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data flows, and data transformation logic. Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications. Ability to work closely with data engineering and QA teams to support build, testing, and validation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in agile delivery methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence). Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with business users and technical teams. Strong ownership to end to end delivery and have experience in leading teams for Data migration projects. Good To Have Hands-on experience creating functional reports/dashboards for business stakeholders. Understanding of cloud data ecosystems across AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda) and Snowflake integration patterns. Exposure to data quality frameworks and metadata management. Experience working in onsite/offshore engagement models.
