Job Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst or Product Owner with expertise in email security and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge, experience in product management, and a deep understanding of email security threats, authentication frameworks, and compliance regulations. This role requires excellent analytical skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to work in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Product Owner or Business Analyst, defining the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for email security solutions.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, security, and compliance, to drive product development.
• Monitor and analyze email security threats such as phishing, spoofing, malware, and ransomware.
• Implement and manage email authentication frameworks such as DMARC, SPF, DKIM, and TLS.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
• Work with Secure Email Gateways (SEGs), email filtering solutions, and threat intelligence platforms to enhance security measures.
• Provide technical and functional guidance to stakeholders and support decision-making processes.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in a Product Owner or Product Management role within the email security or cybersecurity domain.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of email security frameworks and threat mitigation strategies.
• Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and other regulatory requirements.
• Agile Methodology: Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) is a plus.
• Networking Domain Experience: Familiarity with networking principles and their impact on email security.
