Job Role

The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, market trends, and customer insights to provide valuable insights and recommendations for the Wealth vertical at Muthoot FinCorp. This role involves collaborating with various teams to support data-driven decision-making, strategy development, and ensuring the department's financial performance.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Reporting

Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards that provide key performance indicators and insights to the management team.
Collaborate with the leadership team to define and refine the department's strategic goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with the MFL's overall business strategy.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing data-driven insights to optimize resource allocation.
Create financial models to evaluate investment strategies, risk profiles, and profitability, assisting in making informed investment decisions.

Research and Analytics

Analyze client data and behavior to provide recommendations for tailoring wealth management services and improving customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry and market trends, including regulatory changes, and provide insights into their impact on the wealth department's strategies.

Stakeholder Management

Work closely with the marketing, sales, and compliance teams to ensure that the wealth department's strategies are well-executed and compliant with regulations.
Manage a team of analysts, providing guidance, training, and ensuring the team's productivity and development.

Required Skills

Knowledge of Indian financial regulations and wealth management products.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong leadership and team management skills, when needed.

Qualifications

Any bachelor/master's degree except fine arts.
Certification in Business Analytics would be a plus.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in BFSI is preferable, with a proven track record of business analytics and deployed complex analytics framework would be an advantage.
