About The Product & Engineering Collaboration Team

Your role will be to translate business needs into clear product requirements, ensuring that engineering teams have the clarity needed to build solutions effectively.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Business Analyst with 3+ years of experience in the IT Software Services industry who can confidently gather requirements, create structured documentation, and work closely with both clients and internal teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for understanding client expectations, translating them into detailed product requirements, and ensuring alignment throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, product thinking, and working closely with both business and technical teams.

What You’ll Do

As a Business Analyst II At Techdome, You Will

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from clients and stakeholders
  • Prepare structured documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS)
  • Act as a key liaison between clients and internal engineering teams
  • Collaborate with designers to create wireframes and mockups using Figma
  • Manage user stories, tasks, and workflows using JIRA
  • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications
  • Ensure requirement alignment throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including:
  • Sprint Planning
  • Daily Stand-ups
  • Sprint Reviews
  • Sprint Retrospectives
  • Backlog Grooming / Refinement
  • Work closely with Product Owners to support backlog prioritization and requirement clarity
  • Define clear acceptance criteria for user stories
  • Participate in product demos and validate delivered features against business expectations
  • Actively engage with clients to understand requirements and clarify product expectations
  • Leverage AI tools to improve documentation quality, requirement analysis, and productivity

Experience

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT Software Services environment
  • Strong experience working across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Requirement Documentation

Hands-on Experience Creating Structured Documentation Such As

  • BRD (Business Requirement Document)
  • SRS (Software Requirement Specification)

Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.

Agile & Collaboration Tools

  • Strong working experience with JIRA
  • Practical exposure to Agile and Scrum methodologies

UI/UX Collaboration

  • Experience working with Figma for:
  • Wireframes
  • Mockups
  • Product flow discussions

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to interact confidently with clients and internal teams
  • Active listening and problem clarification skills

AI Adoption

  • Ability to leverage AI tools for documentation, analysis, and productivity improvements

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to project estimation and effort tracking
  • Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations
  • Experience working with international clients or stakeholders
  • Strong curiosity for learning new tools, technologies, and product processes
