Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead Documentation Efforts: Own the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation including user stories, functional specifications (FSDs), and acceptance criteria.
Sprint Planning & Execution: Collaborate with engineering and Scrum teams to plan sprints, prioritize backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of features.
Story Management: Write, refine, and manage user stories in the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals.
Scrum Team Integration: Act as the voice of the customer within the Scrum team, participating in all agile ceremonies and ensuring continuous alignment between business and technical teams.
Validation Leadership: Coordinate with QA and business users to validate features and ensure they meet acceptance criteria and business expectations.
Business Translation: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and engineering, translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree

Experience

3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

Experience with Healthcare IT, claims processing preferred
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification.
