Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong analytical and investigative skills to support fraud detection and risk management initiatives. The ideal candidate should have expertise in SQL, Python, data analysis, and fraud investigation, with the ability to identify suspicious patterns, translate business requirements into analytical solutions, and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets to identify fraud patterns, anomalies, and emerging risks.
  • Perform fraud investigations using data-driven techniques and provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and reporting.
  • Use Python for data analysis, automation, and fraud detection models.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate investigation findings.
  • Support fraud prevention strategies through root cause analysis and trend identification.
  • Work with risk, compliance, operations, and technology teams to improve fraud controls.
  • Monitor fraud metrics and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure data accuracy and maintain documentation for investigations and business processes.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in fraud detection or risk analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
  • Experience in fraud investigation, transaction monitoring, and anomaly detection.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Forensic Investigation, Executive Presence and Professional Communication, SQL Proficiency
  • Experience creating business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process flows.
