Position:- Business Analyst- Data Warehouse (Banking)- 16+ yrs

Job Purpose:

The Business Analyst will participate in a data warehouse renewal project.

He/She acts as the team and project lead responsible for overall planning and management of as is/to be data mapping activates team leadership and cross functional coordination . He/She is also expected to lead by example in preforming data mapping tasks.

Key Accountability:

• project planning & management

develop & manage he overall plan for as is/ to be data mapping & migration

activities in the data warehouse renewal project

define the scope and workflow of mapping activities based on system specifications

data definitions and business requirement.

• Stakeholder Coordination

Coordinate and confirm requirements with business users and IT; support requirement

clarification, impact analysis, and documentation.

serve as the main interface with business users it venders for requirements alignment

issue resolution and status reporting.

• Business Requirement and Data Mapping Coordination

design lead and facilitate the overall collection and organization of mapping

related information and requirement from both business users and it specialist.

oversee consolidation and analysis to identify differrent and gaps drive consensus building

and requirment alignment provide guidance to senior officer review and validate deliverables

• Documentation and Quality Control

Prepare, review, and update data mapping documentation and related project materials.

• Risk and Issue Management

· Identify project risks, impacts, and issues; propose solutions and contingency plans.

• User Support and Knowledge Transfer

Promote standardization of deliverables and knowledge sharing consideration within

the team. Assist in end-user adoption activities.

Requirements:

• Experience in handling data related to loans, trade finance, deposits, markets, and remittances in departments in charge of regulatory reporting, such as accounting or risk management, with responsibility for various regulatory reporting tasks and participating in requirement definition and testing phases of renewal projects for regulatory reporting systems or their upsteam systems or experience acting as a counterpart to such department with primary focus on requirements ,definition ,coordination and consideration of workarounds
• Practical experience in mapping current and new system as wellas organising coordinating and examining business requirements.
• Proven track record in coordinating anfd collaborating with multiple stakeholders including business units it & vendors

Preferred skills and personal attributes:

• Experience in DWH system renewal, requirements definition, or data migration projects.
• Strong analytical skills, reliability, attention to detail, ownership of assigned tasks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proactive learner and team player.
• Ability to lead motivate and develop team members strong leadership and a high sense of responsibility.

Experience:- Total experience -16-20 yrs , relevant exp - business analyst , data warehouse renewal project & corporate banking domain
