Role: Business Analyst / Data Analyst – WSO Configuration & Functionality

Experience: 8–16 Years

Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days


Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Data Analyst with strong expertise in Wall Street Office (WSO) by S&P Global and Bank Loan Products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing the complete bank loan lifecycle, configuring WSO modules, performing business analysis, and supporting operational excellence across global capital markets.

This role requires close collaboration with Business, Operations, Technology, Product, and global stakeholders to ensure seamless loan processing, system configuration, data integrity, and process optimization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work extensively on Wall Street Office (WSO) by S&P Global for Bank Loan operations.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Manage the complete Bank Loan lifecycle, including:
  • Deal Setup
  • Trade Capture
  • Trade Amendments
  • Settlements
  • Interest & Fee Accruals
  • Payments
  • Repricing
  • Rollovers
  • Configure and maintain WSO entities, including:
  • Facilities
  • Tranches
  • Borrowers
  • Lenders
  • Pricing Grids
  • Perform cash flow validation, position reconciliation, and loan servicing activities.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues, reconciliation breaks, and data discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Technology teams for issue resolution and process improvements.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, production releases, and system upgrades.
  • Perform business analysis for enhancements and regulatory changes.
  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), process flows, and SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with operational controls, audit requirements, and risk management standards.
  • Work with global stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.

Data & Integration Responsibilities

  • Support source-to-target mapping between WSO and downstream applications.
  • Validate interfaces and data transformations.
  • Perform data reconciliation across upstream and downstream systems.
  • Ensure complete traceability of loan lifecycle events.
  • Support integration testing and interface validation.
  • Drive data quality improvements and operational efficiency.
