The Opportunity

The Business Analyst plays a vital role in analysing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities and supporting decision-making by providing data-driven insights. This position involves gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting data analysis, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business dashboards and KPI trackers for operational and management reporting.
• Monitor business performance metrics and identify actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities for reporting automation and process efficiency improvements.

Requirements Gathering:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for projects and initiatives.
• Ensure that requirements are clear, concise, and aligned with business goals.

Data Analysis:

• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business processes and objectives.
• Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively.

Process Mapping and Improvement:

• Document current business processes using techniques like process mapping.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

Documentation:

• Create detailed documentation of business requirements, process flows, user stories, and other relevant artifacts.
• Maintain and update documentation as needed throughout project lifecycles.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, quality assurance and management, to ensure alignment of business requirements with project deliverables.
• Translate business requirements into actionable reporting and analytical solutions for operational teams and leadership.

Technology Integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

• Play a vital role in technology integration and implementation.
• Assist in defining UAT test cases and participate in UAT activities to ensure that technology solutions meet business requirements.

Reporting and Communication:

• Generate reports and presentations to convey insights and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
• Communicate project status, issues, and risks effectively.

Project Support:

• Support project managers in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring.

Change Management:

• Collaborate with change management teams to facilitate the adoption of new processes and systems within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Experience in Tableau is must.
• Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for querying and analyzing datasets.
• Understanding of joins, aggregations, filters, and data extraction.
• Strong proficiency in Excel including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, IF functions, dashboards, and data cleaning.
• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques such as Tableau, Data Studio, Power BI ,Google Data Studio / Looker Studio ,ExcelSQL.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in education, operations, admissions, customer engagement, or service-driven industries preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with process modeling and documentation tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies is beneficial.
• Industry certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA are an advantage.
