Business Analyst

About the Role: We are looking for a sharp, curious Business Analyst to join our central analytics pod. In this role, you will not just be a "Data Person"—you will act as a true business owner.

You will define critical metrics, break down complex, unstructured problems into analytical frameworks, and uncover actionable insights. What You Will Do

• Metric Ownership: Be an integral part of the pod strategy by identifying, defining, and tracking key business and product metrics. Monitor performance trends and perform deep-dive root cause analyses when metrics fluctuate.
• Insight Generation: Translate fuzzy business problems into concrete analytical statements. Own the entire analysis phase to prove or disprove hypotheses, providing unbiased, data-backed answers.
• Strategic Influence: Move beyond simple data extraction. Present compelling, evidence-based narratives to Product, Business, and Operations stakeholders to drive data-driven interventions and decisions.
• Visualization & Reporting: Design, build, and automate intuitive dashboards that make it easy for cross-functional teams to consume data.

What You Will Need

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on analytics experience in a fast-paced environment (e-commerce, fintech, or consumer tech preferred).
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field from a reputed institute.
• Technical Mastery:
• Advanced proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to manipulate, consolidate, and analyze large, multi-dimensional datasets.
• Strong hands-on experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView).
• Good-to-have: A basic understanding of core statistical concepts or foundational Machine Learning (ML) models.
• Business Acumen & Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a knack for structuring unstructured problems. You should have the curiosity to understand exactly how the product works under the hood.
