What We Are Looking For Life & Annuity – Underwriting role is responsible for evaluating the risk associated with insuring individuals and determining appropriate policy terms for life insurance and annuity products. This includes analyzing application details, medical and financial records, and other risk-related data to make informed underwriting decisions. The objective is to ensure fair, accurate, and compliant risk assessments that align with company guidelines Roles and Responsibilities • Review and evaluate life and annuity insurance applications for completeness and accuracy. • Analyze medical histories, financial information, lifestyle factors, and other risk indicators. • Determine appropriate coverage levels, policy terms, and premium rates based on underwriting guidelines. • Communicate underwriting decisions clearly and professionally to internal teams or distribution partners. • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, decisions, and correspondence. • Collaborate with medical professionals, reinsurers, and other internal departments as needed. • Stay updated on industry regulations and underwriting practices to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness. Understand and manage end-to-end clinical studies across therapeutic areas. It helps in data management tasks for maintenance through database lock and submission and also helps in Clinical Project Management & Clinical Trial Management including EDC Build, data cleaning & database lock task.
