Budget Support Analyst

Position Summary

The AI & Reporting Expert will play a pivotal role in supporting the Budget Support & Rebilling Team by driving automation, AI-enabled reporting, and process transformation across finance operations. The role is focused on automating reconciliations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and rebilling activities using AI tools, analytics platforms, and financial systems. The incumbent will collaborate closely with Finance, Business, and IT teams to enhance operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and data-driven decision-making through intelligent automation and digital finance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Reporting

• Automate day-to-day finance activities, including reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis, and rebilling processes.
• Develop and implement AI-driven solutions for financial reconciliations, reporting automation, and data analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities through automated reporting and analytical solutions.
• Prepare, train, and maintain AI Agents to automate repetitive finance tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  
  

Cost Allocation & Rebilling

• Support cost allocation and rebilling processes through accurate AI-driven solutions.
  
  

System Optimization

• Support the implementation and optimization of SAP, S4 Hana, SAP BW, and related reporting applications through AI.
  
  

Finance Transformation

• Participate in finance transformation and AI implementation projects.
• Manage stakeholder queries and support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requirements.
  
  

Key Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP, S4 Hana, SAP Business Warehouse (BW), and financial reporting systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.
• Experience in reporting automation, dashboard development, and data transformation.
• Ability to develop automated reconciliation and reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of financial systems integration and workflow automation.
  
  

Finance Functional Expertise

• Understanding of Budgeting & Forecasting processes.
• Knowledge of P&L Reporting and Balance Sheet reporting.
• Expertise in Cost Allocation, Cost Reporting, and Rebilling processes.
• Strong skills in Financial Reconciliations and Variance Analysis.
• Understanding of finance controls, reporting standards, and financial planning activities.
  
  

AI & Automation Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, and AI-based workflow automation.
• Experience in preparing, training, and implementing AI Agents for finance processes.
• Ability to automate routine finance activities using AI and intelligent process automation tools.
• Understanding of AI-driven reporting, analytics, and reconciliation solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or a related role.
