As a Guidewire consulting generalist at PwC, you will specialise in providing consulting services for Guidewire software solutions. You will apply an in-depth knowledge of Guidewire applications to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support specific to Guidewire software. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing .NET applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software solutions. Develop and consume RESTful APIs and Web Services (WCF) for application integration. Implement and maintain database solutions using SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, leveraging cloud-based services where applicable. Participate in all phases of the Agile development lifecycle ? from requirements gathering and design to deployment and support. Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintain code quality through code reviews and unit testing. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly. What You Must Have Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in .NET application development Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in .NET application development. Strong proficiency in C# and VB.NET. Experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Storage, etc.). Solid understanding of REST API development and integration. Expertise in SQL Server including T-SQL, stored procedures, and optimization. Experience with Web Services, WCF, and service-oriented architectures. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).
