- Client Relationship Management: Proven experience managing client accounts and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and provide strategic direction in line with client objectives.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business strategies and how marketing initiatives drive business success.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and strategies clearly.
- Project and Time Management: Expertise in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills for contracts, proposals, and pricing discussions.
- Cross-Selling & Up-Selling: Ability to identify and act on opportunities to increase revenue through up-selling and cross-selling.
- Leadership & Managerial Skills: Experience in leading teams and managing client-facing projects.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work well with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Brief Writing & Understanding: Competency in writing clear and concise project briefs for internal teams and clients.Position Overview:
- The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving the success of branding initiatives. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to achieve brand goals and deliver high-quality service.
- Business Acumen: A strong understanding of how marketing impacts the overall business strategy.
- Financial Understanding: Some knowledge of financial principles related to budgeting and financial reporting.
- Agency Background: Previous experience in a marketing or advertising agency is a plus.
- Grievances & Escalations: Experience handling client grievances and escalations efficiently.
- Understanding of Digital Marketing: Knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques is preferred.
- Takes Initiative: Proactively identify solutions to challenges and opportunities for improvement within the team and client projects.
- Interpersonal Skills: Maintain positive and professional relationships with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work, from client communication to project execution.
- Multitasking & Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Successfully juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of work quality.
- Willingness to Learn: Demonstrate a continuous desire to learn and grow within the agency, staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in account management, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Strong presentation, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with digital marketing strategies is a plus.
