Role Description The Branch Manager at Muthoot Fincorp Ltd. will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Surat branch, ensuring efficient service delivery, compliance, and achievement of business targets. This full-time, on-site role includes managing branch staff, supervising gold loan and other financial product processes, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving sales, monitoring financial performance, and implementing strategies to grow the branch’s portfolio. Key activities include handling customer queries, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines, managing cash and security procedures, and preparing regular reports on branch operations. The role also involves training and mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative work environment, and representing the company’s values within the local community.

  • Candidates should possess strong leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, performance monitoring, and staff development.
  • Candidates should possess customer service and relationship management abilities, with a focus on resolving issues, building trust, and retaining clients.
  • Candidates should possess sales and business development skills relevant to financial products, including target achievement, local market awareness, and cross-selling.
  • Candidates should possess operational and administrative competencies, such as branch operations oversight, documentation accuracy, and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Candidates should possess financial and analytical skills, including basic accounting knowledge, risk awareness, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Relevant experience in banking, NBFCs, or financial services, especially in gold loans or retail lending, is highly beneficial.
  • A graduate degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; additional certifications in finance or management are an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Surat, demonstrate integrity, and comply with regulatory and company standards is required.
