Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Board Member (Probano) at HackHalt Cyber Intelligence Council. The Board Member will actively participate in strategic decision-making, advise on cybersecurity practices, support organizational growth, and oversee compliance with the organization’s objectives. In addition, the Board Member is expected to provide governance, establish policies, and liaise with industry stakeholders to enhance collaboration and effectiveness in combating cyber threats.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, threat detection, and digital security frameworks
• Proven experience in leadership roles, strategic advisory, or governance, preferably in nonprofit or technology-focused organizations
• Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner with diverse stakeholders, including law enforcement and industry representatives
• Experience in policy development and organizational compliance within the cybersecurity domain
• Passion for advancing digital security awareness and prevention initiatives
• Ability to dedicate time and expertise in a part-time, remote capacity
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and global cybersecurity trends is a plus
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Policy Administration, Law, or a related field
