Role Description The Billing Head is a full-time, on-site role based at Paras Hospital in Srinagar. This position oversees the end-to-end billing operations, including patient billing, insurance claims processing, payment posting, and reconciliation of accounts. The Billing Head monitors billing workflows to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include supervising billing team members, resolving complex billing issues, coordinating with clinical and administrative departments, and preparing billing-related reports for management. The role also involves implementing process improvements, maintaining billing standards, and supporting audits to strengthen financial controls and revenue integrity.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to manage hospital billing processes and revenue cycle activities.
• Experience working with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and analysis for management decision-making.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret billing data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Proficiency with hospital information systems, billing software, and Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in healthcare finance are an advantage.
• Prior experience in hospital or healthcare billing leadership roles, managing teams and complex billing operations.
• Knowledge of relevant healthcare billing regulations, insurance processes, and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site in a fast-paced hospital environment.
