Job Summary:

We are hiring for a leading Big 4 firm for the role of Credit Portfolio Senior Analyst. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in US/UK/AU mortgage portfolios along with hands-on expertise in SAS (UNIX environment). This role involves credit portfolio monitoring, risk analytics, and policy development in collaboration with global risk management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct credit reviews, approvals, and portfolio monitoring to track credit migration trends
  • Analyze portfolio performance and recommend credit policy adjustments
  • Utilize SAS in UNIX environment for data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, and quality testing
  • Perform risk analytics and financial analysis to support decision-making
  • Handle ad-hoc risk policy analysis, reporting, and stakeholder queries
  • Assist in developing, testing, and implementing credit risk policies ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Manage portfolio risk across multiple products and retail formats
  • Prepare and present risk management reports to senior leadership
  • Ensure adherence to risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
  • Identify, escalate, and manage risk/control issues with transparency

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of experience in credit risk / portfolio management
  • Strong experience in US/UK/AU Mortgage domain (mandatory)
  • Proficiency in SAS (especially in UNIX environment)
  • Solid understanding of commercial risk analytics and credit risk principles
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into business recommendations
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with global stakeholders
  • Exposure to regulatory frameworks and risk compliance
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills
