Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will architect, deploy, manage, and optimize secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructures while collaborating with development, security, and DevOps teams. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure and AWS services. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevOps best practices. Configure and optimize cloud services including compute, storage, networking, identity, and security. Manage and monitor cloud environments for cost optimization, performance tuning, and reliability. Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies. Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep. Integrate cloud environments with on-prem systems as needed (hybrid cloud). Ensure cloud solutions meet compliance, security, and governance standards. Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide root-cause analysis. Collaborate with developers, security engineers, and IT teams to support application deployments. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with Azure and AWS. Strong experience with : Azure (VMs, VNets, App Services, AKS, ACR, Azure SQL, Storage, IAM) AWS (EC2, VPC, Lambda, EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch) Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools : Terraform, Azure ARM/Bicep, AWS CloudFormation. Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI). Solid understanding of networking : VPC/VNet, VPN, Load Balancers, DNS, routing, firewalls. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS). Experience with Linux/Windows administration. Strong skills in one or more scripting languages : PowerShell, Bash, Python. Understanding of cloud security concepts and identity management (Azure AD, IAM, Policies). (ref:hirist.tech)
