Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore/Chennai/Mumbai/Hyderabad and Delhi(NCR) for a Business Development Manager (Integrated Facility Management). The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting TorchBearer’s integrated facility management services. The Business Development Manager will conduct market research, prepare proposals, lead presentations, and negotiate contracts with prospective and existing clients. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with operations teams to align service offerings with client requirements, tracking sales pipelines, and reporting on business performance. The role also requires regular client visits, networking with industry stakeholders, and representing TorchBearer at relevant events and meetings.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client acquisition, and account management.
- Experience in integrated facility management, property management, or related service industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities to engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Capability to perform market analysis, prepare commercial proposals, and support pricing strategies.
- Proven ability to collaborate with operations and service delivery teams to meet customer expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facilities Management, or a related field; an MBA is an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site with readiness for local travel as needed.
- Strong organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office or similar tools, and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Prior experience in a similar BDM role and familiarity with contract management or RFP processes is preferred.
