A fast-growing technology-enabled professional services and talent marketplace operating in the B2B SaaS and recruitment-tech sector. We serve domestic and international clients by connecting skilled professionals to project and staffing needs, driving revenue through outbound sales and strategic account development. This on-site India role is ideal for high-energy freshers who want a sales-first career in business development and client acquisition.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own outbound prospecting: research targets, build lists, and run multi-channel outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn) to generate qualified leads.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, articulate our value proposition, and qualify opportunities for the account team.
- Manage and update CRM with accurate contact data, activity notes, and opportunity stages to maintain a healthy pipeline.
- Coordinate with delivery and recruitment teams to prepare client-facing proposals and ensure smooth handoffs for onboarding.
- Achieve weekly and monthly activity metrics (dials, outreach touches, qualified meetings) and contribute to team revenue targets.
- Continuously improve outreach cadences and messaging by testing approaches and sharing learnings with peers.
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline and open to on-site work in India.
- Comfortable with cold calling and conducting discovery conversations with potential clients.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (experience with Salesforce or similar).
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting or demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
- Basic spreadsheet skills (MS Excel / Google Sheets) for tracking outreach and metrics.
- High ownership mindset, resilience, and a coachable attitude for a fast-paced sales environment.
- Prior internship or project experience in inside sales, tele-sales, or business development.
- Familiarity with email outreach tools (e.g., Mailshake, Lemlist) and outreach automation best practices.
- Understanding of B2B procurement cycles and stakeholder mapping for mid-market clients.
- Structured sales training and mentoring program to fast-track career growth into senior BD or account roles.
- Performance-driven incentives and clear KPIs with regular feedback loops.
- Collaborative, learning-first culture with frequent cross-functional exposure to delivery and product teams.
