Job Title: Business Development & Program Operations Manager

Location: Near IIT Delhi

Duration: Full-Time


Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic professional to manage business development and operations for a quantum technology program. This role involves execution, stakeholder coordination, program management, and ecosystem building. A strong technical understanding is essential to effectively manage operations in a deep-tech environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive program execution, including planning, coordination, and delivery
  • Manage day-to-day operations and ensure smooth functioning of program activities
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders (industry partners, academia, startups, internal teams)
  • Support business development initiatives including partnerships, outreach, and collaborations
  • Track program progress, milestones, and deliverables
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure alignment with program goals
  • Maintain documentation, reports, and operational records
  • Identify process improvements and optimize workflows


Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong project management and execution skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple workstreams
  • Problem-solving mindset with operational efficiency focus
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and project management platforms


Preferred Technical / Industry Background

  • Basic to intermediate understanding of Quantum Technologies (Quantum Sensing, Quantum Computing, Quantum Communication, or Quantum Cryptography)
  • Background in engineering, technology, or science domains
  • Experience working in deep-tech programs, research environments, or tech startups/ organisations and with Government Partnerships.
  • Ability to understand technical discussions and translate them into execution plans


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, B.E. Electronics, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, operations, program management, or similar roles
  • MBA (preferred but not mandatory)
