Role Description The Barista is a full-time, role based in central Bengaluru,. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to consistent quality standards, handling food preparation for light snacks, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the café area and equipment. The Barista greets customers, takes orders, processes payments, and provides friendly, efficient customer service while managing peak-hour demands. The role also involves learning product offerings, recommending menu items, managing inventory levels for supplies, and supporting basic administrative or online order tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Barista skills, including coffee preparation, beverage crafting, and familiarity with café equipment.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage positively with guests and build repeat patronage.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to take accurate orders, explain menu items, and coordinate with team members.
• Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills for handling ingredients safely, assembling snacks, and following hygiene standards.
• Relevant experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment is beneficial.
• Basic cash-handling and point-of-sale (POS) system experience is an advantage.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and manage rush hours is important.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; barista or food safety certifications are a plus.
