wWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Banking Accounting Associate to support daily banking and cash accounting operations. This role is responsible for processing bank transactions, performing reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, and supporting treasury-related activities. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy

.Key Responsibilitie

• sPerform daily reconciliation of bank accounts to the general ledger and investigate and resolve discrepancies
• .Record and process bank transactions, including deposits, payments, ACH, wire transfers, and returned items
• .Prepare journal entries related to cash and banking activities as part of the month-end close process
• .Coordinate with internal departments to resolve unidentified payments, returned checks, and cash discrepancies
• .Monitor and reconcile credit card, ACH, wire transfer, and other electronic banking transactions
• .Maintain accurate banking records and supporting documentation in accordance with internal controls and audit requirements
• .Support the Treasury team in preparing cash flow reports and other banking-related reports
• .Assist with compliance, internal controls, and banking procedures to ensure adherence to company policies
• .Identify opportunities to improve banking and reconciliation processes

.Qualifications & Experienc

• eBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• .1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in banking, treasury, cash management, or general accounting
• .Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and cash accounting principles
• .Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• .Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• .Experience with NetSuite is required. Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is an added advantage
• .Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• .Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

.Preferred Qualification

• sExperience working in a large corporate or shared services environment
• .Familiarity with treasury or banking platforms such as JPMorgan Access, Bank of America CashPro, or similar banking portals
• .Experience supporting retail or multi-location business operations
