Operational days and hours - Monday to Saturday at Bangalore store – 9:30 am to 6:30 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at a Leading Fashion House based in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of accounting experience and possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and tools such as Tally ERP. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our financial records accurately and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including recording all financial transactions, expenses, and income.
• Petty Cash Management: Responsible for the management of petty cash, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
• Accounting: Handle general ledger entries, prepare financial statements, and perform account reconciliations.
• GST Filing: Prepare and file Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns accurately and in a timely manner.
• Professional Tax: Ensure compliance with Professional Tax regulations and timely filing of returns.
• Customer Bill Processing: Accurately load customer bills and invoices into the financial management tool.
• Financial Reporting: Generate regular financial reports for management, summarizing key financial data and providing insights for decision-making.
• TDS, TCS, ITR, company financials filings for the company and stores as per state laws
• Inventory (in / out) Management (using Bar coding) for all stocks at the main office
• Learn and understand all aspects of accounting process and help in daily operations too.
• Learning of the Inventory management software is critical for this role (third party software)
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Tally ERP.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, PF, ESI, and Professional Tax regulations and filing procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations in Bangalore (Karnataka) is a plus.
• Working with company CA on required reporting and accounting process
