Role Description


This is a full-time, on-site role for a Bakery Chef located in Ahmedabad. The Bakery Chef will take charge of planning and preparing bakery items, managing kitchen operations, sourcing high-quality ingredients, and ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards are upheld. Responsibilities include experimenting with recipes, presenting creative pastry designs, training kitchen staff, and maintaining strict attention to quality and consistency in all baked products. Collaboration with the culinary innovation team forms an integral part of this role to deliver exceptional and trend-forward bakery offerings.

Products: Burger Buns, Sourdough breads, Cold desserts, Baguette bread, Pita bread


Qualifications


  • Expertise in baking techniques, recipe development, and pastry decoration
  • Proficiency in managing kitchen operations, including inventory and ingredient sourcing
  • Strong understanding of food safety protocols and cleanliness standards
  • Creativity and innovation in designing and presenting bakery products
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Formal culinary education or equivalent professional experience in baking or pastry arts
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product consistency
  • Knowledge of emerging food trends and modern flavor profiles is a plus
