Backend Java Developer - Intern

• Stipend - Rs. 18,000/- to 20,000/- per month
• Candidate must have a laptop for this internship

We are looking for a motivated Backend Java Developer Intern with 0–2 years of experience to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for building scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices that power high-performance digital applications. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world production systems, databases, caching, and distributed architectures.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot

- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable backend code

- Work with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and optimize performance

- Implement caching strategies using Redis or similar tools

- Contribute to event-driven architecture using Kafka or message queues

- Debug production issues and perform root cause analysis

- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices

- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and data teams

- Support deployment and monitoring of services

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 0–2 years of experience in backend development (internship)

- Strong understanding of Core Java (OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling)

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot

- Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture

- Knowledge of SQL and database fundamentals

- Familiarity with Git and version control

- Understanding of data structures and basic system design

Good to Have

- Exposure to Redis, Kafka, or similar technologies

- Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization

- Experience working with deployed production systems

- Understanding of CI/CD concepts

Education

- B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field

- Strong academic foundation in programming and algorithms
