Must have skills required: Strong communication skills, Java/ Springboot/ Python/ Go Aspora is Looking for: As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable backend systems that power Vance's fintech platform. You will be an early shaper of the design and architecture of the core product and platform, and work closely with the founding team to deliver 10x value to our users. Hands-on Codingwrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code, ensuring high performance and security. Optimize for Scalebuild resilient, fault-tolerant systems that handle millions of transactions. Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless experiences. Ensure High Availabilityimplement robust API architectures, distributed systems, and database optimizations. Improve Performance and Reliability: monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize backend processes. Prioritize Business Needsalign engineering efforts with business priorities, ensuring rapid iteration and execution. Own System Designarchitect backend services that are modular, extensible, and scalable. Requirements 4-8 years in backend development, preferably in a product-based startup or fintech company. Strong ability to design modular, scalable, and high-performing backend systems. Ability to write efficient, high-performance code that scales. Ability to prioritize product and business needs while making tech decisions. Someone who thrives in early-stage environments, enjoys building things from scratch, and takes high ownership. Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Python, or Go (we are language-agnostic, but backend expertise is key). Strong experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
