Job Title: Backend / Infrastructure Engineer Location: [Specify Location or Remote] Experience: 3?10 years Preferred Education: B.Tech / M.Tech from IIT or other Tier-1 institutes About the Role: We are looking for highly skilled Backend / Infrastructure Engineers with a strong foundation in scalable system design, distributed architecture, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance backend systems and infrastructure that power large-scale applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, Go, or Python . Architect and scale distributed systems for reliability and performance. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP . Work with Kubernetes , Docker , and CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation. Implement and maintain streaming and messaging systems using Kafka . Design robust data models and manage databases such as PostgreSQL , MySQL , or NoSQL alternatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, production-grade software. Monitor, debug, and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability. Required Skills & Experience: Strong background in computer science fundamentals , data structures, and algorithms. 3?10 years of backend or infrastructure engineering experience. Proficiency in one or more backend languages ( Node.js, Go, Python ). Hands-on experience with AWS / GCP , Kubernetes , Docker , Kafka , and Postgres . Strong understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems. Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance-tuning skills. Good to Have: Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation . Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.). Familiarity with security best practices in backend systems.
