Salary: INR 118518-133333 / month (based on experience)

Expected Notice Period: 15 Days

Shift: (GMT+05:30) Asia/Kolkata (IST)

Opportunity Type: Remote

Placement Type: Full Time Contract for 6 Months(40 hrs a week/160 hrs a month)

Lyzr is Looking for:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer with strong experience in Python-based backend systems and cloud-native development. The ideal candidate will be comfortable building scalable APIs, working with real-time communication, and integrating modern AI/Studio APIs such as Agents and Knowledge Bases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI
Build and optimize RESTful and real-time APIs, including WebSockets
Work with MongoDB for schema design, data modeling, and query optimization
Deploy and manage backend services using Docker and AWS
Integrate and work with Studio APIs such as:
Agents
Knowledge Bases (KBs)
Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability
Collaborate closely with frontend, AI, and DevOps teams
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions

Required Skills & Qualifications

3–4 years of hands-on experience in backend development
Strong proficiency in Python
Experience building APIs with FastAPI
Solid working knowledge of MongoDB
Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda or similar)
Hands-on experience with Docker
Experience implementing WebSockets or other real-time communication mechanisms
Familiarity with Studio APIs (Agents, Knowledge Bases)

Good to Have

Experience with async programming in Python
Exposure to AI/LLM-based applications
Experience with cloud-native or microservices architectures
Basic understanding of system design and scalability concepts
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
