Job Overview As a Junior Backend Developer at Twixor in Chennai, you will work on scaling backend systems powering innovative customer engagement solutions over messaging platforms. This is a full-time role, ideal for candidates passionate about working with modern technologies and contributing to mission-critical digital transformations. Qualifications And Skills Proficiency in Java (Mandatory skill), with practical experience in building backend applications following best engineering practices. Hands-on expertise in API Development (Mandatory skill), focusing on secure, scalable, and well-documented RESTful services. Experience working with Spring Boot to develop modular, maintainable, and high-performance backend services in enterprise environments. Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming principles to design robust and reusable software components and modules. Knowledge of Agile Methodologies, collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams with flexibility and iterative delivery. Solid understanding of SQL-based databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and DB integration. Familiarity with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, to design and implement storage solutions for scalable applications. Demonstrated problem-solving and debugging skills with a keen attention to detail in identifying and resolving backend performance bottlenecks. Roles And Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain backend modules and microservices using Java and Spring Boot to support business requirements. Design and expose APIs, ensuring high reliability and integration with external and internal systems for business workflows. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure seamless system integration and feature delivery. Write efficient and well-documented code following Twixors development, security, and quality standards at every step of the SDLC. Participate in requirements analysis, solution design discussions, and provide technical input for architecture and database design. Monitor, test, and optimize backend processes to ensure maximum speed, scalability, and reliability for high-volume applications. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working collaboratively to implement sustainable fixes and prevent recurrence. Stay updated with industry trends and implement best practices to contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
