About The Role We?re hiring SDE-II engineer who excels in backend-heavy full stack development and have hands-on experience building and scaling production-grade distributed systems. You?ll work across design, implementation, and deployment, taking ownership of core services that power high-availability and fault-tolerant systems. This role is ideal for engineers who?ve shipped real systems, understand scaling challenges, and can reason through trade-offs with clarity and precision. Job Requirements 4?5 years of hands-on experience in backend or full stack development. Proven experience working on production-grade distributed systems. Strong fundamentals in databases (modeling, indexing, scaling, consistency, connection pooling). Proficiency in an object-oriented language (Java, Python, C#, etc.) ? comfortable picking up .NET/C#. Solid understanding of API design (contracts, pagination, error handling, status codes). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/K8s). Knowledge of caching strategies (usage, invalidation, consistency) and queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS). Ability to identify choke points and propose scalable solutions. Strong grasp of OOPs, SOLID principles, and clean code practices. Bonus Skills Experience migrating or scaling large distributed systems. Understanding of microservices and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps pipelines. Prior experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers. Design and develop scalable backend services and clean, reliable APIs. Model and optimize databases ? indexing, transactions, replication, and connection pooling. Contribute across the stack, ensuring backend systems integrate effectively with frontend components. Apply strong system design principles: separation of concerns, availability, maintainability, and fault tolerance. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks using data-driven reasoning. Deploy, monitor, and scale services on AWS / GCP / Azure using Docker / Kubernetes. Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high engineering standards.
