Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Backend Developer - Python/Django/GenAI at Kaitongo in Bengaluru. You work on the kaitongo platform that is focused on cutting edge applications of GenAI/LLM capabilities. you wil work in an agile environment, to learn and gather new technologies and related tools. In addition to superb tech capabilities, you should be comfortable in working with the leadership team in problem solving and strategizing. Expect to operate in a fast-moving, supportive and fun environment. Responsibilities The role involves day-to-day tasks such as back-end web development, software development, object-oriented programming (OOP), using LLM APIs and and frameworks.. Key responsibilities: - Building and Managing the Backend components Django/Python - Defining architecture and technology solution as per the product requirements - Leveraging LLM capabilities to enhance current features (e.g. knowledge retrieval using vector databases, prompt engineering) - Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code. - Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers (React) - Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications. - Implementation of security and data protection. Qualifications Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills (Python/Django) Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Experience in working with Front-End developers Strong programming skills Experience in working with LLMs/GenAI technologies (OpenAI, Anthopic, LLama APIs, and Langchain). Experience in building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications and/or working with vector databases is a plus. Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
