Job Description

Salary: 1.0 LPA to 3.5 LPA

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Calicut, Kerala

Note: Freshers and candidates with only internship experience are not eligible for this position. Minimum 6–12 months of hands-on professional work experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of robust, scalable Node.js applications and RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth data flow and integration between UI and backend logic.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code under guidance from senior developers.
Participate in code reviews and learn best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
Debug and troubleshoot issues under the mentorship of senior team members.
Stay updated with modern backend development trends, tools, and technologies.
Participate in Agile/Scrum team activities and contribute to sprint goals.
Implement unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
Document development progress, API specifications, and implementation notes.

Requirements:

Basic experience or internships in backend development using Node.js and Express.
Familiarity with REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and JavaScript ES6+ features.
Understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
Willingness to learn scalable backend architecture and cloud deployment practices.
Good understanding of version control tools like Git.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced development environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
