Backend Developer Internship ?? About the Internship As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the core APIs, business logic, database structure, integrations that power the TradeGospel platform. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role for engineers who want to build large-scale systems from the ground up. Responsibilities Develop scalable, modular backend services using NestJS Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices architecture Integrate 3rd-party services, SDKs, and external APIs (payments, AI, real-time systems, etc.) Work with PostgreSQL to design schemas, write optimized queries, and manage migrations Implement authentication, authorization, and user management modules Support WebSocket-based real-time features Create clean, maintainable code following best practices Dockerize backend services for deployment & development environments Collaborate closely with frontend, AI, and product teams Requirements Strong hands-on experience with NestJS Experience integrating 3rd-party libraries, SDKs, and external APIs Good understanding of SQL databases ? PostgreSQL preferred Basic knowledge of Docker and containerized development Experience with authentication, role-based access, and token systems Understanding of scalable backend architecture Nice to Have Experience with microservices Familiarity with Redis, caching, or message queues Basic understanding of AI integrations or real-time event systems Prior experience building creator-based or social platforms Internship Details Location: Remote Probation Period: 2 weeks Duration: 3 months after successful completion of probation Stipend: ?5,000 per month Why Join TradeGospel?
