Backend Developer_ IIoT

Job Description

Support global Miba Production Sites in the Area of Smart Factory. Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Python (Flask, Django, Numpy, Pandas etc..). Collaborate with architects and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions. Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams in an agile environment using Azure DevOps. Work with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Ensure security, reliability, and performance of backend systems. Develop and maintain secure and scalable IIoT platforms. Monitor and troubleshoot IIoT deployments to ensure data integrity and system reliability. Good requirement understanding and work independently wherever necessary. Stay current with IIoT technologies and industry trends. Contribute to the development of innovative IIoT projects to meet client needs. Document technical solutions and maintain best practices. Implement clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards. Experience in the Area of Industry 4.0, IIoT Strong proficiency in Python with experience in Flask and Django frameworks. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), including handling large-scale & time-series data. Experience with version control systems like Git and platform such as Azure DevOps. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills. Familiarity with industrial automation and manufacturing environments. Experience with industry protocols i.e. OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT etc. Ability to work effectively in agile, globally distributed teams. Proven working experience in implementing IT solutions in the Area of Production Familiarity with DevOps culture and observability tools (e.g., Grafana). Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning concepts. Experience in developing AI powered applications is an added advantage.
