Must have skills required: Distributed Systems, Microservices Architecture, System Design, Backend Development, API development, Performance Management, Scalability Urbint is Looking for: Job Summary We are seeking a Software Development Engineering-3 to help design, build, review and enhance the products at Urbint. Our Application Team partners closely with product managers, user interface designers, and our other engineering teams to develop performant, easy to use full stack web applications which drive the workflows and decisions of our customers. What You'll Do Design the systems for scale with high availability and reliability. Identify the choking points in the current system, suggest, own and deliver the System enhancement as a part of Tech initiatives. Performance analysis and improvements. Collaborate with Engineering Manager, Team members, Product Manager and other stakeholders, as may be required Raise the Bar on the Engineering quality and speed. Show High accountability and ownership. Mentor and guide team members. Who You Are Significant Backend-end (5+ years) experience designing, building and maintaining enterprise web applications and/or APIs with the following technologies: Object oriented Language: Python / Java / NodeJs SQL databases: Postgres / mysql / SQL Server Queues: SQS / Kafka / RabbitMQ / Celery API: REST / GRPC Cloud: AWS / GCP / Azure Will be nice to have experience and knowledge also in the following too: Kubernetes Terraform Mongo Familiarity with modern DevSecOps techniques: CI/CD, TDD, Infrastructure as code (laC), etc. High accountability and ownership. High proficiency with relational databases and ability to profile and optimize queries. Production experience with Django Rest Framework, FastAPI, or other API frameworks Experience working closely with the product team to help prioritize the best solutions to the largest problems. Experience designing and architecting distributed systems to meet high standards of reliability and ease of use Attention to detail in work and ability to identify ambiguities in specifications. Able to effectively communicate ideas and concepts within your team, across teams, and throughout the organization, even with non-technical audiences, in both written and verbal forms.
