About the Role

We are looking for a talented Backend AI Developer with strong Python expertise and hands-on experience in building AI-powered backend systems. The ideal candidate should have solid experience with Django REST Framework and FastAPI, along with practical exposure to RAG systems, LLM integrations, and AI agent development.

You will work on scalable AI-driven SaaS applications, help architect backend systems, and build intelligent AI solutions using modern frameworks and vector databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend systems for AI-powered SaaS platforms
• Architect, build, and support production-ready AI applications
• Build and optimize end-to-end RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines:
• Reading and processing unstructured files
• Chunking and vectorizing data
• Retrieval optimization and evaluation
• Develop and deploy AI agents using modern AI frameworks
• Integrate and work with Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Build secure and scalable APIs using Django REST Framework and FastAPI
• Optimize application performance for high user loads
• Work with vector databases and large-scale datasets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
• Write clean, maintainable, and production-quality code

Must-Have Requirements

• Strong real-world experience with Python
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Django REST Framework
• FastAPI
• Minimum 2 year of practical experience in AI development: RAG systems, LLM integrations & AI agents
• Experience building AI agents using frameworks such as: LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Vector Databases: Pinecone, Weaviate & ChromaDB
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL or similar SQL databases & MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases
• Experience working with LLMs such as: GPT-4, Claude, Llama & Gemini
• Experience handling large datasets and data preprocessing
• Good understanding of scalable backend architecture and API design

• Experience with Flask
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms
• Experience deploying AI applications in production
• Understanding of asynchronous processing, Celery, Redis, or queues
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
