Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Back-End Developer located in Chennai. The Back-End Developer will be responsible for developing server-side logic, maintaining databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. This role includes implementing security and data protection solutions, optimising applications for maximum speed and scalability, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Django and Django REST Framework Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and security Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning Manage and optimise database schemas and queries Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django Proficiency in Django REST Framework Solid understanding of PostgreSQL/MySQL and ORM concepts Experience with Git and testing frameworks Familiarity with Linux environments and RESTful API design principles Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Good-to-Have Skills Celery, GraphQL, or Docker experience Exposure to AWS / GCP / Azure Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Redis, or microservices Understanding of WebSocket and security best practices Education Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
