Job Summary


We are looking for an experienced Node.js Backend Developer with strong expertise in developing scalable backend applications, REST APIs, and Microservices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, API development, and backend integration while working in an Agile environment.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
  • Design and build secure, scalable REST APIs on Microsoft Azure.
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement Azure-native services and cloud components.
  • Enhance and migrate legacy applications to Azure environments.
  • Develop and maintain Microservices architecture.
  • Integrate backend systems using REST APIs, JSON, XML, and third-party services.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, UI/UX, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards.
  • Perform unit testing and ensure application reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when required.


Required Skills


  • 4–6 years of software development experience.
  • Strong programming experience in Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience with Express.js or NestJS.
  • Experience in developing REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Azure components/services.
  • Experience in SQL Server, T-SQL, or Azure SQL Database.
  • Experience with Azure Cosmos DB or NoSQL databases.
  • Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
