Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Back End Developer located in Chennai. The Back End Developer will be responsible for developing server-side logic, maintaining databases, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. This role includes collaborating with front-end developers, integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic, and implementing security and data protection measures. Core Responsibilities? ? Translation of complex requirements into detailed design? ? Developing and delivering quality services and solutions using Node.JS, HTTP, REST, RDBMS, No SQL and other web technologies.? ? Maintaining current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology.? ? The candidate must be able to work with a minimum of technical supervision and supplemental engineering support ? Solid understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX. ? Build (code) and unit test app functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include code builds and documented unit test results. ? Provide technical leadership by providing architectural guidance and establishing best practices. ? Translation of complex requirements into detailed design and implementation. ? Hands-on development and Proficient excellence in JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js ? Expertise in building REST-based reactive microservices platform? ? Experience and thorough understanding of relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, CockroachDB ? Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures? ? Familiarly with event/message-driven system design and architecture ? Experience with developing microservices using cutting-edge tools and technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ etc. ? Experience with AWS is highly desired ? Proven track record of delivering results, especially in the area of writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code.? ? Expertise in DevOps process and tooling for deployment, monitoring, and site reliability engineering? ? Familiar with managing applications in the cloud. Qualifications? ? Masters/Bachelor?s degree in computer science or equivalent.? ? 9+ years of overall software development experience with strong experience in object-oriented analysis and design. ? At least 5+ years of experience on modern JavaScript frameworks like, NextJS, Node JS, Prototype, BackboneJS, or similar Bootstrap experience. Skills & Attributes ? Strong analytical skills ?
