Role Description This is a full-time, on-site B2B Sales Manager role based in Pune City. The B2B Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business customers, especially distributors and institutional buyers, while maintaining and growing relationships with existing partners. Daily activities include conducting sales meetings, presenting product portfolios, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The role involves monitoring market trends, preparing sales forecasts, tracking performance metrics, and providing regular reports to leadership. The B2B Sales Manager will also support marketing initiatives, participate in industry events, and contribute to strategies that expand the distributor network and brand presence.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in agro, food products, FMCG, or related industries.
  • Strong skills in business development, lead generation, and relationship management with distributors and institutional clients.
  • Ability to conduct market research, analyze sales data, and prepare accurate forecasts and performance reports.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Experience working with on-ground sales teams, coordinating logistics, and ensuring end-to-end customer satisfaction.
  • Comfort with using CRM tools, basic MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and digital communication platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-growing, sustainability-focused environment.
  • Willingness to travel within and around Pune City for client meetings and distributor network development.
