Role: B2B Commerce Manager
Function: Digital Sales / Marketplace Growth
Location: India
Reporting to: Head of Sales / Business Head
Role Summary
The B2B Commerce Manager will own end-to-end growth, operations, and profitability of the company’s presence across B2B commerce platforms including IndiaMART, Moglix, BulkMRO, and other emerging B2B marketplaces. The role combines digital channel strategy, revenue management, platform optimization, catalog control, and partner relationship management to drive scalable marketplace sales.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Revenue Ownership
- Drive sales growth across IndiaMart, Moglix, BulkMRO, and other B2B portals
- Own channel revenue targets and profitability metrics
- Identify new B2B platform opportunities and onboard strategically
Platform Management
- Manage product listings, catalog hygiene, pricing, and inventory sync
- Optimize visibility using platform tools, promotions, and ad spends
- Ensure SLA compliance: order processing, fulfillment, and customer service
Lead & Conversion Management
- Track inbound inquiries and conversion funnel performance
- Implement response systems to improve lead closure rates
- Coordinate with inside sales and operations teams for fulfillment
Commercial Strategy
- Develop pricing and discount frameworks specific to marketplaces
- Negotiate platform commercials, commissions, and visibility packages
- Analyze ROI of paid campaigns and sponsored listings
Data & Analytics
- Monitor daily dashboard metrics (traffic, inquiry rate, conversion rate)
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports
- Identify trends and improvement areas through analytics
Vendor & Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with platform account managers
- Ensure priority visibility and participation in platform campaigns
- Resolve escalations and operational bottlenecks
Process & Automation
- lBuild SOPs for catalog, order flow, and response management
- Improve operational efficiency using CRM / automation tools
Skills & Qualifications
- 3–7 years experience in B2B e-commerce or marketplace management
- Strong understanding of IndiaMART / Moglix / BulkMRO ecosystem
- Data-driven decision-making ability
- Negotiation and commercial acumen
- Familiarity with ERP / CRM systems
- Excellent cross-functional coordination skills
- Analytical mindset with revenue ownership attitude
