Azure WAF & Security Specialist

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Azure Security Engineer to manage and monitor Azure landing zones and Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with customer security teams to ensure robust cloud security posture and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Azure Landing Zone Management: Lead the end-to-end setup, configuration, and maintenance of Azure landing zones. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security best practices. Azure WAF Monitoring & Policy Enforcement: Monitor Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF) for threats and anomalies. Implement and enforce WAF policies to protect applications from common vulnerabilities and attacks. Security Collaboration: Work closely with customer security teams to align on threat detection, incident response, and compliance requirements. Provide expert guidance on Azure-native security tools and configurations. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Azure security operations. Proven expertise in managing Azure WAF and related security monitoring tools. Skills: Strong understanding of Azure architecture, networking, and security services. Familiarity with Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel is a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Availability: Must be available to work during EU business hours (IST 12 PM to 8 PM). Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate or equivalent. Experience working with international clients and distributed teams.
