Job Title: Azure Migration Engineer Location: Hyderabad, Chennai Shift Timings: 5 PM to 2 AM (Working from Office) Experience: 14+ Years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Migration Engineer to lead and execute the migration of on-premises virtualized workloads (Hyper-V and VMware) to Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud migration strategies, tools, and methodologies, and a strong understanding of virtualization technologies and Azure infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: ? Assess existing on-premise environments (Hyper-V and VMware) for migration readiness. ? Design and implement migration strategies using tools such as Azure Migrate , ASR (Azure Site Recovery) , and Azure Arc . ? Perform discovery, assessment, and dependency mapping of workloads. ? Execute lift-and-shift, rehost, or rearchitect migration approaches based on workload requirements. ? Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams to ensure seamless migration and integration. ? Monitor and troubleshoot migration activities, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. ? Document migration plans, processes, and post-migration validation steps. ? Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams during and after migration. ? Optimize Azure resources post-migration for performance, cost, and scalability. Required Qualifications: ? Proven experience in migrating workloads from Hyper-V and VMware to Microsoft Azure . ? Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS , Azure Migrate , Azure Site Recovery , and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) . ? Familiarity with networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and hybrid cloud setups. ? Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.). ? Understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance best practices. ? Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: ? Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent. (mandatory) ? Experience with Azure Arc, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics. ?
