Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Greetings from Teknikoz Experience : 6+Years Roles and Responsibilities Design, configure, and manage Azure infrastructure components ? including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Identity services. Support implementation projects, including environment setup, workload migration, and post-deployment stabilization. Manage ongoing operations and monitoring of Azure environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent, repeatable infrastructure provisioning. Maintain and troubleshoot Azure networking components such as VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, and ExpressRoute. Apply best practices for security, governance, and compliance in Azure. Collaborate with service management teams to resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and deliver continuous improvement. Document infrastructure setups, configurations, and operational runbooks. Stay current with Azure platform enhancements and recommend improvements where applicable. Required Skills & Experience 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Services (IaaS, Networking, Security, Storage, Compute). Strong experience in Azure Networking ? including hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute), load balancing, routing, and security configurations. Working knowledge of Terraform for Azure infrastructure automation. Familiarity with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure management tools. Experience in managing identity and access through Azure Active Directory and RBAC. Experience in supporting incident and change management within a managed services model. Solid troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills across infrastructure and networking layers. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Exposure to hybrid environments integrating on-premises and Azure workloads. Familiarity with PowerShell or Azure CLI for scripting and automation. Soft Skills Strong analytical and diagnostic capabilities. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Team-oriented, proactive, and accountable for delivery outcomes. Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving cloud technologies.
