Role Description Key Responsibilities Define cloud strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals, hybrid/on-premises integration and Azure services. Design and architect Azure solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) including compute, storage, networking, identity, security, monitoring, disaster recovery and business continuity. Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives: assess existing workloads, define target state, plan migration (lift-and-shift, re-architect), execute with minimal disruption. Establish and enforce governance, architecture standards, best practices, security & compliance frameworks across the Azure environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, operations, DevOps, security, business) to ensure solutions meet functional, non-functional (performance, reliability, scalability) and regulatory requirements. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. Monitor and optimize Azure environments for cost, performance, security and reliability; perform capacity planning and resource optimization. Stay current with Azure service updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies; provide guidance on adoption and innovation. Mentor and guide engineering teams on Azure architecture, DevOps practices and cloud best practices. Required Skills 8-12 years (or more depending on seniority) of IT experience, with several years focused on Azure architecture and cloud infrastructure. Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services across compute, storage, networking, identity (Azure AD/Entra), security, databases, containers (AKS), serverless. Hands-on experience with IaC (ARM, Bicep, Terraform), automation (Azure CLI, PowerShell), DevOps and CI/CD practices. Proven ability to design and implement secure, scalable, highly available cloud architectures including hybrid or multi-cloud environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills?able to translate business requirements into cloud solutions and present to non-technical leadership. Microsoft Azure architecture certification (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) is highly desirable. Preferred/Good-to-Have Experience in industry-specific compliance and security standards (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA, NIST) especially in regulated sectors. Exposure to data & analytics workloads, AI/ML services on Azure. Experience with multi-region or global deployments and large-scale enterprise migrations. Skills Azure, CI/CD, Terraform
